Testosterone Therapy versus Workout Supplements

Many individuals have not yet fully understood the difference between testosterone therapy and workout supplements. Although both of them help in developing more muscle mass and boost fat metabolism, they are not the same. Workout supplements may contain testosterone to increase the hormone levels and help individuals achieve leaner muscles, but its testosterone content is not as high as products used for testosterone therapy.

Testosterone therapy is made to correct the deficiency that results to symptoms like decreased libido, fatigue, insomnia, decreased bone density and muscle mass. Supplements contain testosterone that is only enough to supply the body, and not exactly to alleviate the symptoms of low testosterone.
